AWA Coaching is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
We believe that everyone should be able to:
The AWA Coaching platform aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.
WCAG 2.1 AA is an internationally recognized standard for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. We are actively working to achieve full conformance. Known issues are detailed below.
Our platform includes the following accessibility features:
Full keyboard access to all interactive elements. Navigate using Tab, Enter, and Arrow keys.
Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for compatibility with screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Descriptive alt text for images and icons where meaningful.
Clear visual indicators when navigating with keyboard.
Consistent navigation structure across all pages.
Clear labels and instructions for all form fields.
Clear error messages with suggestions for correction.
Skip navigation links to jump to main content.
Mobile-friendly design that works on all device sizes.
No content auto-plays without user control.
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
Issue: Some downloadable PDFs (certificates, reports) may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
Workaround: Contact us for an accessible alternative format.
Issue: Some performance data tables may be difficult to navigate with screen readers.
Workaround: We can provide data in alternative formats (CSV, simplified view).
Issue: Some live updates (notifications, messages) may not be announced to screen readers.
Workaround: Refresh the page or check the notifications section manually.
Issue: Embedded content from third parties (e.g., payment forms) may not meet our accessibility standards.
Workaround: Contact us for assisted checkout or alternative payment methods.
