1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

AWA Coaching is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

We believe that everyone should be able to:

  • Navigate our platform easily
  • Read and understand our content
  • Book sessions and manage their account independently
  • Access information about coaching programs
  • Communicate with coaches and administrators

2. Conformance Status

Target Standard

The AWA Coaching platform aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

WCAG 2.1 AA is an internationally recognized standard for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Current Status: Partially Conformant

"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. We are actively working to achieve full conformance. Known issues are detailed below.

Our platform includes the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

Full keyboard access to all interactive elements. Navigate using Tab, Enter, and Arrow keys.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for compatibility with screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

Color Contrast

Mostly Implemented

Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).

Resizable Text

Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

4. Known Accessibility Issues

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:

PDF Documents

Priority: Medium

Issue: Some downloadable PDFs (certificates, reports) may not be fully accessible to screen readers.

Workaround: Contact us for an accessible alternative format.

Complex Data Tables

Priority: Medium

Issue: Some performance data tables may be difficult to navigate with screen readers.

Workaround: We can provide data in alternative formats (CSV, simplified view).

Dynamic Content Updates

Priority: High

Issue: Some live updates (notifications, messages) may not be announced to screen readers.

Workaround: Refresh the page or check the notifications section manually.

Third-Party Content

Priority: High

Issue: Embedded content from third parties (e.g., payment forms) may not meet our accessibility standards.

Workaround: Contact us for assisted checkout or alternative payment methods.
